In 2008 GIW will be held at the stunning Marriott Surfers Paradise Resort and Spa, a five star property in the heart of the Gold Coast.

Situated in the heart of the Gold Coast, the resort is just a short stroll from the famous beaches, shopping and nightlife of Surfers Paradise. The unique facilities, ideal location and award-winning service make this the perfect resort. Facilities include superb heated “lagoon” swimming pool, Spa and Health Club and international restaurants.

Conference guests will be able to enjoy full use of the Resort’s Spa and Heath Club, complimentary use of the resort’s two tennis courts, complimentary undercover car parking and a morning newspaper.

Accommodation Rate
• $215 per night room only for single, double or twin occupancy in a Hinterland View Guestroom
• Third adult/rollaway bed - $40
• Above rates apply three days prior and/or three days following the conference
• Full Buffet Breakfast in the Lagoon Restaurant available at the discounted conference rate of $27 per person (normally $35)
• Check In – 2pm; Check Out – 11am

A deposit of one night’s accommodation is required to secure bookings at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa.

Accommodation Cancellations
Deposits may not be refundable if cancellation occurs within 14 days or less from the date of arrival. If cancellation occurs within 48 hours of arrival and for ‘no shows’ a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total reservation may apply.
